Who are the Queens of The West?

Well, after a busy 2025 and performances at the 2026 Port Fairy Festival and playing for the punters at Newport’s Fiddle and Folk Club night, we’re in a recess while our guitarist tours Europe and some of us put our feet up for a while. But we’ll be back.

The Queens are a band featuring rich, 3-part, sassy, all-girl harmonies flavoured with jazz, blues and humour; these Melbourne Westies are fast becoming a musical tour de force.

The girls convinced four assorted Punk, Rock, Jazz, and Blues instrumentalists that they would enjoy playing behind three harmonising singers,and a ukulele.
