Sad News!

The Queens of The West has disbanded. The logistics of organising rehearsals and the exigencies of life in general finally overcame us. Thanks to everybody who supported us at our gigs and festivals. We had a great time, and shed a few tears when it finally finished.

Who were the Queens of The West?

The Queens were a band featuring rich, 3-part, sassy, all-girl harmonies flavoured with jazz, blues and humour; these Melbourne Westies are fast becoming a musical tour de force.

The girls convinced four assorted Punk, Rock, Jazz, and Blues instrumentalists that they would enjoy playing behind three harmonising singers,and a ukulele.
