Goodbye 2005, hello 2026

2025 was a busy year with its ups and downs. We had a lot of fun playing at the Port Fairy and Newport Jazz Festivals, continued the residency at The Catfish Bar that had started at the end of 2024 and made some demo recordings and videos at RMIT in Novemember.

Unfortunately our residency, like all good things, came to an end and one of our valued singers, Steph Payne , decided that burning the candle at both ends was not good for her wellbeing so we lost her. Luckily Aneta Graham stepped in to fill the gap, but with all the projects she’s involved with she can only sing with us occasionally.

2026 is looking interesting-good. We have Port Fairy coming up, and Steven Frisby, an experienced singer from the musical theatre and folk scene will be bringing his beautiful falsetto to our harmonies. Looks like we might just need to change the name of the group! Any ideas?
